The Fukuoka Council for Designing Society in Aging Asia engages in a range of activities to promote sustainable ageing societies across the region.
Our main activities include:
■ International Study Visits
We organize study visits to Fukuoka City, providing opportunities for government officials, practitioners, and researchers to learn from Japan’s advanced ageing policies and care systems.
■ Training Programs
We offer training programs for care workers and related professionals, focusing on practical skills, management, and international best practices.
■ International Collaboration
We collaborate with universities, government agencies, and organizations in Asia to promote joint research, policy dialogue, and knowledge exchange.
■ Workforce Development
We support the development of care workforce systems, including initiatives related to foreign care workers and capacity building.
■ Policy Exchange
We facilitate policy discussions and exchange of experiences among stakeholders to address common challenges in ageing societies.
